HappyMonday!  This week we will beworking with a book called Shopping.  Students will be introduced to the –eat word family, such asneat, meat and eat.  In math wewill continue to work with coins and addition and subtraction.  Writing down + or – is a good way toidentify if your child can distinguish between each of these symbols.  In writing, we will focus heavily onpunctuation and students will exposed to different forms so that they can startincorporating these into their stories.

Rememberto: sign your child’s behavior chart, do different activities with the spellingwords and to play with the oh-so-important sight words! Have a good week!

¡Feliz lunes!  Esta semanaestaremos trabajando con un libro que se llama Shopping.  Los estudiantes serán introducidos a lafamilia de palabras –eat, por ejemplo, “neat, meat and eat.”  En matemáticas vamos a continuar atrabajar con monedas y con suma y resta. Si escribe + o – y le pregunta sobre estos símbolos a su hijo es unamanera buena de identificar si reconoce la diferencia entre la suma y resta.  En escritura vamos a concentrarnos enpuntuación y los niños estarán expuestos a signos diferentes que podránincorporar en su escritura.

Recuerden de: firmar el papel de conducta, hacer actividades diferentecon las palabras de deletreo y, ¡de jugar con las tan importantes “sightwords!” ¡Que la pasen bien!
